Meet "Sam I Am"
Meet precious Sam I Am, who is a sweet, 12 yr old male Boston Terrier whom has his own canine rescue success story to share. Sam I Am came to Wonderdog via the Martinez Shelter in July of 2010 at the age of 10. He came with two female Bostons that were lucky to find their forever homes. Sam, however, has a bit of an incontinence problem so he was a bit harder to place. ACFB stepped up in August 2010 and he remained part of their canine pack until September 2011 when unfortunate health and other diffiulties required ACFB operations to reorganize.
In January, Sam needed to have his eye removed due to a detached retna and Wind Song (formerly ACFB) was only too happy to help pay for 75% of the surgery. Sam is doing so well post surgery. He is a much happier little fella and his attitude has improved greatly.
We know Linda missed him when he was gone for the two days he was hospitalized and she reports to Wind Song that she is so happy to have him back.
Wind Song is honored and priviledged to work with Linda and we're so happy she reached out to us. You can visit Sam's photo journal from Wonderdog's photo gallery HERE
This is exactly what Wind Song's new Canine Foster Care Program is all about...helping cover the costs of medical care for animals in need. We are so awe inspired by the generous financial support of our donor communities world-wide--without you, we would not have been able to offer finanical assistance to Wonderdog Rescue and Sam I Am.
